Can the frame be portrait and landscape ?

Yes, the frame can be displayed in either orientation.

What form of paper should I use with a backlit display ?

When using an LED poster display, we always recommend printing onto Duratrans paper. This is a special form of paper that will let just the right amount of light pass through your graphic to illuminate it with photographic clarity.
